Bad breath or Halitosis is a condition when a person produces bad breath while exhaling out. It can be a real turn off for the person standing next to you or talking to you directly.

Having bad breath is also considered as a sign of poor health condition. The main areas from where bad odor arises are mouth, stomach, nose, and esophagus.

When you eat food that has a strong odor, like garlic, onions etc., and the odor remains in your mouth and doesn’t go away even after brushing as it just removes the odor temporarily.

The odor will go away completely only when such foods are excreted out of the body.

2. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a reliable cure for many of the health problems and bad breath is no exception to the fact.

You can use ACV as a mouth gargle. Put some apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water. Gargle with it for about 10 seconds before you spit it out. It will cleanse your mouth thoroughly, treating the entire bad odor present in it.

3. Baking soda

Baking soda works by changing the acidic levels of your mouth, and by doing this; it creates an unfavorable condition for bacteria to breed within your mouth. In this manner, it prevents bad breath.

Put some baking soda on your toothbrush and brush all over your teeth. Or, mix ½ tbsp. of baking soda powder in one glass of lukewarm water and swish this solution all around your mouth.

4. Tea tree oil

Squeeze a half lemon in a glass of water and rinse your mouth with this solution.
